Robert “Buddy” Bohrer
Director of Land Development

As H.G. Fenton Company’s director of land development, Robert “Buddy” Bohrer plays a key role in the organization’s land acquisition, entitlement and development efforts throughout the Southern California region.

Bohrer works closely with Allen Jones, H.G. Fenton Company’s vice president of land development, and is responsible for identifying opportunities that are consistent with the organization’s mission of creating quality places for people to live and work. In addition, his responsibilities include company projects that are already in various stages of planning.

Bohrer has over 20 years of experience in land acquisition and development. Most recently, he was president of Alchemy Real Estate Partners LLC. He previously was vice president of land acquisition with Standard Pacific Homes for three years and director of land acquisitions for Pardee Homes, also for three years.

A graduate of the University of Southern California, Bohrer holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations with an emphasis in economics. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of San Diego.

Bohrer is an active member (and past board member) of the Building Industry Association (BIA) and National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), as well as the University of San Diego’s real estate advisory committee. He also serves on the board of directors of HomeAid America, San Diego Chapter.
