As H.G. Fenton Company's Project Manager, Brian Gates is charged with managing all aspects of the organization's commercial building development projects, in conjunction with President and CEO Mike Neal. He also manages the leasing activities at several of Fenton's commercial business parks. Brian is a member of the commercial acquisition team and is responsible for the financial analysis associated with all commercial acquisition and asset management activities.

Prior to joining H.G. Fenton Company in 2006, Gates worked for four years with DPR Construction, a large commercial general contractor, as a project engineer where he took part in managing all aspects of a variety of construction projects ranging from a downtown mixed-use high-rise to biotech lab/office facilities.

Brian holds a master's degree in real estate from the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate at the University of San Diego. Gates received his bachelor's degree in business administration and management from the University of Phoenix, and studied building construction management at Michigan State University.

Gates is an active member of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He also serves on the Policy Advisory Board for the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate as a Young Entrepreneurs Council Member. Gates is a LEED® Accredited Professional.
