Carroll Whaler
CPM, Vice President/Residential Property Management
Carroll Whaler is responsible for overseeing the company's growing residential property management division comprised of 11 multi-family communities and 2,800 homes. Her responsibilities include the overall management, financial performance and development of on-site employees. In addition, she participates in the due diligence and underwriting of acquisitions.
Whaler, who joined H.G. Fenton Company in 2001, has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry including the development and lease-up of 7,500 units in the Southern California area. She previously was a vice president with Lend Lease where she managed H.G. Fenton Company's portfolio on a fee basis for three years.
Under Whaler's leadership, H.G. Fenton Company has been consistently recognized with national and local awards for the quality of its communities and the high level of service its residents receive.
Whaler is a graduate of Chapman University in Orange, CA with a degree in Organizational Leadership. She has earned her professional designation in Real Estate Management from the University of California, Los Angeles, completed a Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate certificate program in Real Estate Finance & Investment, is a Certified Property Manager with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and is vice president of The San Diego County Apartment Association.
