AQUATERA APARTMENT HOMES WELCOME SECOND PHASE RESIDENTS – Leasing is Moving Quickly at the Brand New Mission Valley Community

SAN DIEGO – The second phase of move-ins at H.G. Fenton Company’s luxurious Aquatera, the brand new 254-unit resort-style apartment community in Mission Valley, is now underway.  Since the leasing office and models opened just weeks ago, 75 of the contemporary homes have already been leased with new reservations being made daily.

Located at 5777 Mission Center Road, Aquatera offers meticulously appointed residences ranging from one to three bedrooms and up to 1370 square feet in size.  It is the first San Diego apartment community to combine a plethora of resort-caliber amenities with eco-friendly features that reflect H.G. Fenton Company’s commitment to build responsibly.

Aquatera’s edgy common area features include a spectacular 10,300-square-foot, state-of-the-art clubhouse overlooking an expansive, 25-meter salt-water pool. The surrounding deck area includes a separate elevated spa, cabanas, towel-service, fire pit with conversation area, barbecue islands and refreshing water features. The result is a place for residents to unwind, connect with friends or work out – all in a setting that rivals premier destination resorts.

“Our residents are drawn to the very special environment we’ve created where everything they could possibly want to make the most of their lifestyle is right here at home,” said Irina Polyak, Community Director at Aquatera. “The relaxing atmosphere we’ve created on the outside carries through to each of our four comfortable and contemporary models which feature numerous luxurious appointments as standard features.”

The clubhouse is a key focal point of Aquatera, where residents can work out at the sports club, or relax with friends in the club room that features three flat screen TVs for use with provided Nintendo® Wii, Sony® Playstations, and a pool table. Other special features found at the clubhouse include a cyber café, beverage bar, professional kitchen and adjoining entertainment area, and relaxing deck areas.

Inside the homes, residents enjoy top-of-the-line finishing touches including granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, cherry wood cabinetry, and front load washers and dryers. All residences also offer backings for flat screen televisions, intrusion alarms, patios or balconies, single-car garages, decorative niches and track lighting. Ceramic tile entry ways, 9-foot ceilings, pre-wired high speed internet connections and central air conditioning are also standard in each of the lavish residences.

“We want our residents to make their homes uniquely theirs, and have partnered with interior designers and painters including Hold It to provide them with custom decorating at special discounted pricing,” said Polyak.  “This collaboration provides Aquatera residents with the added benefit of designing their space with colors and furniture specifically to their tastes.  If they want to re-create the look of our chic models, that is also an option.”

Aquatera incorporates numerous water- and energy-saving features that conserve resources, enhance the livability of the project and help save residents money on their utility costs. Residents who drive electric vehicles will enjoy the convenience of an electric vehicle charging station right on sight. The project’s location near key shopping, dining and employment centers and less than a mile from the Trolley adds to its urban appeal and convenience.

A 216 kilowatt Photovoltaic solar energy system supplies 90 percent of the electricity for all common areas and amenities. Solar energy also heats the 25-meter salt water pool. The use of solar shades in the club room and dual glazed, Low-E vinyl windows in all buildings reduce heat gain and loss, lowering utility bills.  High efficiency laundries further reduce utility costs.

A well fed by underground aquifers serves Aquatera’s numerous water elements.  The use of synthetic turf in lieu of grass, along with smart irrigation including on-site weather stations to maximize water efficiency, are just a few of the project’s water conserving features. To ensure the project’s lush appearance during times of drought, landscaping incorporates native California or Mediterranean plans that require low supplemental watering. The hillside has been replanted with indigenous plant material that will require no irrigation whatsoever once it is established.

The community’s leasing office is located in the Aquatera clubhouse and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. For information or to arrange a personal tour of the community and models, call Aquatera at 619-293-7700.

Rental rates for the apartments at Aquatera range from $1,635 to $2,820.
