THE SAN DIEGO UNION TRIBUNE- Is your bedroom set boring? Is your table looking tired? If you have been thinking about buying new furniture, today is your lucky day. BIA Cares, the Building Industry Association’s charitable foundation, is holding its sixth model home furniture sale today from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in a 10,000-square-foot showroom at 7545 Metropolitan Ave. in Mission Valley. The H.G. Fenton Company, a commercial and residential developer and BIA member, is donating the space for the sale so more of the proceeds can go directly to those in need.
