SAN DIEGO, December 5th, 2013 – For the 11th straight year, H.G. Fenton Company has been honored for outstanding achievement in the San Diego County rental housing market, earning 25 Mark of Excellence Awards from the San Diego County Apartment Association (SDCAA).

H.G. Fenton Company owns and manages 13 apartment communities with over 3,100 homes in San Diego County. The 2013 Mark of Excellence Awards honored the company across eight categories with multiple awards in several areas.

Rental Community of the Year honors were awarded to:

  • Bella Del Mar in Del Mar, first place (16-100 units)
  • Club River Run in Mission Valley, first place (301-500 units)
  • Portofino in Mission Valley, first place (301-500 units)
  • Tierrasanta Ridge in Tierrasanta, second place (30-plus years)
  • El Dorado Hills in Tierrasanta, third place (30-plus years)

Property Manager of the Year honors were awarded to:

  • Kimberly Duggan of Solana Highlands, first place (101-300 units)
  • Crystal Stasch of Evening Creek, second place (101-300 units)
  • Olivia Connolly of Solterra, third place (101-300 units)
  • Christopher Ramirez of Tierrasanta Ridge, third place (301-500 units)
  • Jonathan Herbert of Club River Run, third place (301-500 units)

Property Team Achievement was recognized at:

  • Seagate in Carlsbad, first place
  • Aquatera in Mission Valley, third place

Assistant Managers of the Year were:

  • Vince Silva of Riverfront, first place (1-250 units)
  • Michael Sparaco of Tierrasanta Ridge, first place (251-plus units)
  • Jacqi Barretto of Club River Run, second place (251-plus units)
  • Travis Allen of Evening Creek, third place (1–250 units)

Leasing Professionals of the Year were:

  • Carlos Rebollar of Solana Highlands, second place (1–250 units)
  • David Phan of Solterra, third place (1-250 units)
  • Wesley Lynch of Seagate, third place (251-plus units)

Maintenance Supervisor of the Year honors went to:

  • Silvestre Saucedo of Aquatera, first place (251-plus units)
  • Gerry Tabunar of River Front, second place (1–250 units)
  • Jose Guerrero of Seagate, third place (251-plus units)

Maintenance/Make Ready Technician honors were given to:

  • Ralph Cleary of Aquatera, first place (single site)

Porter/Housekeeper of the Year was:

  • Ana Sosa of Solana Highlands, first place (1-250 units)
