SAN DIEGO – H.G. Fenton Company announces that Chassis Plans, The Original Industrial Computer Source®, has signed a five-year, $1,222,572 lease for 22,976 square feet in Scripps Ranch Business Center located at 10123 Carroll Canyon Rd. in the Scripps Ranch area of San Diego.
The lease represents a relocation and expansion by Chassis Plans within the H.G. Fenton Company industrial portfolio that nearly quadruples its overall space and gives it nearly five times the manufacturing area it had before.
“Our company is growing exponentially as a result of the expansion of our rugged LCD manufacturing capabilities, and we needed a larger facility that would allow us to continue to provide our customers with the high level of service they expect from us,” said Todd Mason, controller with Chassis Plans. “We have enjoyed the quality of our experience with H.G. Fenton Company and it was our desire to locate to another one of its buildings if one could be found that met our business and location needs.”
Scripps Ranch Business Center met all of Chassis Plans’ requirements, including proximity to the I-15 and the ability to modify the space to meet its assembly and work space requirements. “The building also allows us to continue our relationship with H.G. Fenton Company which was important to us because of the high level of service and maintenance they provide,” Mason said.
Chassis Plans designs and manufactures rugged rackmount computer systems and militarily-enhanced LCD products for military and industrial markets. Its new facility in Scripps Ranch Business Center includes a larger engineering department, state-of-the-art anti-static manufacturing spaces, material and environmental testing for military standards verification, and enhanced rugged LCD capabilities.
