Community Connection

Through the decades, H.G. Fenton has grown right along with San Diego. Carrying a deep connection with the city and its surrounding areas, we give back to the community on a regular basis. We have developed enrichment programs, partnered with several local businesses and donated to regional charities. When we help our environment and economy, we help make San Diego an even better place to live and work. See how we’re helping create a better San Diego.

Developing youth and education

JA BizTown – This 10,000 sq. ft. mini-city gives kids the chance to live like adults and gain valuable real-life experience. Fifth graders take on grown-up tasks, such as shopping, getting health check-ups—even collecting rent from other businesses in the H.G. Fenton business shop!

Trade Tech High – As a new public school choice, Trade Tech High educates students who are focused on construction-related professions. Trade Tech and H.G. Fenton have become a model industry-education partnership, developing an innovative greenbuild curriculum that cultivates the skills needed for the construction industry’s workforce of tomorrow. Check out this video of on the H.G. Fenton Company Greenbuild Tech Academy.

San Diego State University – Through guest teaching and funding, H.G. Fenton is proud to help educate local university students who have an interest in real estate. We are also members of the university’s board and have formed career partnerships with the College of Business Real Estate Program and the Corky McMillin Center for Real Estate.
